Samantha Pelosi

Samantha Pelosi joined BAFT in 2016 as a Senior Vice President to define its payments and innovation strategies and increase its visibility in financial crime compliance. Samantha currently focuses on applications for blockchain technology and artificial intelligence in banking, faster payments, and reversing the decline in correspondent accounts worldwide. Samantha came to BAFT from the Federal Reserve Board, where she served first as a senior attorney writing consumer protection regulations under the Dodd-Frank Act and then as manager for retail payments following emerging technology. Before departing for the Federal Reserve, Pelosi was the global head of compliance at Travelex Global Business Payments (now Western Union Business Solutions). Samantha also supported the anti-money laundering mission of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) of the US Treasury Department as a senior attorney implementing the USA PATRIOT Act. Andrew Foulds is Director of Global Clearing Solutions and Product Management at Fiserv. He is responsible for maintaining relationships and compliance with global market infrastructures. He has been in the payments industry for over 20 years and has held various roles across the globe combining his data expertise and commercial experience. Prior to joining Enterprise Payments Solutions at Fiserv, Andrew was with SWIFT and part of the management team that delivered the SWIFTRef data business and built it into the success it is today. He has extensive experience in developing and managing relationships and joint initiatives with payments industry bodies, managing key projects with a number of payment authorities including European Payments Council, Euro Banking Association, Pay UK and Banking and Payments Federation Ireland.
